URBAN COLOURS ART REVIEW – THE THEATRE OF DREAMS

| Review

I have recently been introduced to Urban Colours. Urban Colours is unique artwork including football stadiums and landscapes. They are available as signed limited edition prints, mugs and cushions. There will also be cufflinks added to the collection before Christmas as well. The talent behind Urban Colours is Jamie.

Jamie graduated from a fine art degree from Loughborough University’s School of Art and Design. He has since then continued to progress his technique in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic and print. His work has been shown nationally and internationally, including a successful show in Melbourne, Australia.

He has also worked with UEFA to make a film that was shown at the Europa League 2015 final in Warsaw. His popular works are owned by managers, players and fans alike as his reputation continues to grow.

I was gifted* The Theatre of Dreams print. For those of you that don’t follow football, also known as Old Trafford, home of Manchester United. D is a huge fan of Manchester United and is attempting to pass that love down to Lucas. (Jamie actually has wall murals available from Wall Sauce which I would love for Lucas’ next bedroom). I knew this print would be perfect for him.

The print is a hand-drawn representation of Old Trafford stadium and the surrounding area. It was drawn from the site of the new Football hotel.  The simple line-drawn style captures the shapes of the football ground and coupled with the warm, bold, colour create a very attractive modern print.

Starting at £45, I think these limited edition prints are a perfect gift for a football fan this Christmas. Jamie has over 70 football grounds already and also accepts requests x
